About Founder & Head
Dr. Kaushik Sarmah is a distinguished and empathetic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, renowned for his proficiency in both conservative and advanced surgical interventions that markedly enhance patient outcomes. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Meenakshi University, Chennai in 2010, and subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital, under the same university, completing his specialization in 2015. During his tenure in Chennai, Dr. Sarmah was affiliated with several premier healthcare institutions, including Apollo Hospitals and Mehta Hospitals, where he delivered exemplary care as part of multidisciplinary clinical teams.
In 2015, Dr. Sarmah returned to his native city of Guwahati, where he extended his surgical expertise across a number of esteemed establishments, such as the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Regional Dental College, Nemcare Hospital, and Aruna Memorial Hospital. In 2021, he joined Health City Hospital as a Consultant Surgeon, and through his unwavering dedication and clinical acumen, he was appointed the Founding Head of the Department of Dental, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2024.
He is also practising at his centre in Bhangagarh Guwahati, under the name Dr. Kaushik's Dental & Maxillofacial Centre, offering specialized care in a dedicated clinical setting since 2017.
A trailblazer in his field, Dr. Sarmah was among the first in Guwahati and Northeast India to implement patient-specific maxillofacial implants for complex hard tissue reconstruction of the jaws. Furthermore, he played an instrumental role in the inception of the Northeast chapter of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI NE), where he currently serves with distinction as the Honorary Treasurer.
Our Vision
After spending over a decade in Chennai, Dr. Kaushik Sarmah relocated to Guwahati and envisioned a comprehensive multispeciality facility offering both advanced dental care by specialists and diagnostic services under one roof. He also recognized the pressing need for specialized dental and maxillofacial services tailored to medically compromised patients, including those requiring reconstructive care following trauma, individuals receiving radiation therapy, cardiac patients, and transplant recipients. Motivated by this need, he brought his vision of an integrated, interdisciplinary centre to life, with the mission of improving access to high-quality healthcare for all.

Each unit is managed by a dedicated team of specialists and supported by cutting-edge diagnostic technologies, ensuring comprehensive and holistic patient care.
